This Ecological Christmas tree is a brilliant, & festive, physical manifestation of Walter’s views on how wasteful society is.

Each year, at the height of the holiday season, we are all over come with giving, buying and decorating, and each year we all waste large sums of money on things which ended up in the trash only days after we have purchased them. These wasteful, yet well meaning, acts then fill our skips and landfill.

Walter’s tree symbolises this wastefulness, yet at the same time should also be looked upon as guiding light for the holidays. Enjoy them, celebrate them, and give, but give useful things, be reasonable in your giving and try to waste as little as you can. Be mindful of the future and future Christmases.

The tree will be in the window of The General Trading Companies Holland Park Location for the rest of the Christmas period. Its a definite must see!!!
