The Golden Pallet Table is his latest piece showing, perfectly, his artistry of the recycled, taking an ordinary shipping pallet & transforming it into a visually stunning magnificent table - the first in his Post-Industrial Boulle Series.

He has elevated a piece of disposable industrial packing equipment into a golden wonder on sleek glass legs.

“I WANTED TO TAKE AN OBJECT RECOGNISED WORLD-WIDE, SOMETHING WE SEE EVERYDAY IN THE MOST ODD PLACES, DISREGARDED, DUMPED, ABANDONED. WE HAVE ALL PASSED A PALLET IN A STREET, YARD OR FACTORY, NOT GLANCING AT IT TWICE. SO, BY GILDING IT WITH 22 carat GOLD LEAF, THE TRANSFORMATION IS HUGE, & NOW WE LOOK AT IT IN AWE, & TO TAKE THE DESIGN A STEP FURTHER, BY INLAYING IT WITH THE PURITY OF CLEAN GLASS, THE DIRTY OBJECT BECOMES PURE. THE THIRD STEP WAS TO PUT CLEAN STRAIGHT GLASS LEGS UNDER THE PALLET, SO THE WHOLE OBJECT BECOMES A PRACTICAL & BEAUTIFUL TABLE.”
